Autism in children: Autism is a developmental disorder that affects social interaction, language development and affects a childs perception of their environment. Causes are unknown, vaccines do not cause autism. Early signs are infant doesn't babble at 12 months, not using words at 16 months, not using 2 word phrases at 24 mo., or a child that loses previously learned skills.

Autism is the fastest-growing developmental disability in the U.S. today. I would just like to say to the parents of autistic children, don't ever give up, for you never know when that breakthrough will happen, or how it will happen!
