Vertebroplasty study: Dr. David Kallmes, a neuro radiologist at the Mayo Clinic, discusses vertebroplasty for spinal fractures. He reviews the study, which found that patients that had the procedure for spinal fracture did better clinically, however it also showed that patients that had a mock procedure (or placebo) did just as well.
