Patients are felt to be at high risk if they have a lifetime risk of 20 -25% of breast cancer. Women with the BRCA gene mutation, or a first degree relative with a BRCA gene mutation are felt to be at high risk. MRI guided biopsy can also be helpful. so helpful to know more about screening. I have breast cancer in one breast and know that I have to have regular screenings from here on in. NJ1444 12.5 years ago I have an MRI yearly because of LCIS.
