Breast augmentation surgery can actually be done with one or two different types of implants, either silicone gel filled breast implants or saline filled breast implants. The interesting thing about these implants is that the outer membrane is made up of a semi-solid silicone membrane. It is identical in either type of implant. The main difference is what's inside.

Many of my friends have silicone gel breast implants. I do not need them but my cousin is thinking of getting them. It seems like the thing to do these days. I must admit they look good. How do you get mammograms when you have these implants?

I had saline breast implants about 6 years ago. I heard that you can now get the silicone breast implants as opposed to saline. I wanted to go alittle bigger anyway. I know the silicone implants make your breasts feel and look much more real.
