I asked the previous question, I have to clarify, my father is being treated for COPD, but also just started to get treatment for sleep apnea. He is now sleeping with a mask. My question is will the treatment for the sleep apnea help lower his risk of heart disease.

My father is being treated for COPD after many years without treatment, and he is sleeping much better, will this lower his risk of heart disease, after starting to get treatment for his COPD?
