Chlamydia infection. This infection is caused by bacteria found in semen and vaginal fluid. It is passed by sexual contact. It usually does not cause symptoms, women may have burning or pain with urination, vaginal discharge, bleeding after sex, or lower abdominal pain. Men may have pain with urination, a cloudy discharge from the penis, or pain in the testicles. The diagnosis is made with a swab of the infected area. If left untreated, infertility can occur.
