Description:

Cholesterol is broken down into a few different numbers when you see your blood test. The LDL is the bad cholesterol. The HDL is the good cholesterol, and the Triglycerides is the fat in the blood. This animated video reviews the goals for these types of cholesterol.

I am also interested in CRP levels. Some docs say this is not important but my doc always mentions HDL, LDL and has put me on Crestor and Niaspam. I think this is a good combination to reduce my cholestorol levels. I have also lost weight and exercise daily to help as well.
