Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia-CLL. The bone marrow produces stem cells that go on to form all of the cells in the blood. White blood Cells or lymphocytes are the cells that fight infection. In CLL, the bone marrow produces too many lymphocytes, which are abnormal and can not fight infection, so people are prone to infection. Other symptoms include fatigue, anemia, and easy bruising.
