Description:

Coilic is a syndrome of intermittent extreme crying in otherwise healthy infants. It is felt to be because of abdominal pain without a clear cut cause. The definition of colic in infants is extrreme crying greater than 3 hours in duration, more than 3 times a week, for 3 weeks in a row, without another clear cause. Infants between 2 weeks and 3 months are most commonly affected. Although it is very stressful for parents, there are no known longterm problems associated with colic.

Colic is so stressful for parents. You just want to make that kid stop crying, and you feel helpless.
