Description:

Complications of hypertension or high blood pressure include heart failure, stroke, kidney disease, and eye problems. Diabetes is associated with high blood pressure, and makes the complications more likely. It is very important for diabetics to moniter their blood pressure closely. Dr. Florence Brown. Joslin Diabetes Center. Boston, MA.

Thank you dr brown. My endocrinologist follows my blood pressure very closely. It is helpful to know that the doctors at the famous Joslin clinic agree with my doctor. I have been diabetic for 14 years, and I have had high blood pressure for about the same amount of time.
