Description:

Eczema in children can be very difficult as it will frequently keep the children from doing some activities . Dr. Dawn Davis, a pediatric dermatologist from the Mayo Clinic, discusses eczema in kids. Eczema is the common name for Atopic Dermatitis. There are treatments for eczema that can allow children to participate in the activities that they like. Some of these treatments include anti-histamines, antibiotics, and a skin regimen including soaking, soap, and emolient.

Thanks for the useful tips. My first son had it quite bad when he was little, he is now 4 and still gets it occasionally but never as bad. I had quite a few creams from the doctor, some made it worse, apparently it can take a while to find the right one.
