Description:

Endoscopic treatment of large polyps in the colon. Polyps can lead to colon cancer. Polyps larger than 2 cm are more likely to become cancerous. The larger polyps are more difficult to remove during colonoscopy, but there are newer methods to remove them, although some people will require surgery if they are too large.
