What to expect from you flexible sigmoidoscopy. Flexible sigmoidoscopy or flex sig, can look at the lower 1 foot of colon to screen for cancer and to do biopsies of polyps. It can not look at as much colon as a colonoscopy, but it can be a good screening test. Video courtesy of eMedTV.com
