Mild Cognitive Impairment is a transitional state between normal aging Alheimer's Disease. It is manifested by early forgetfullness. It is estimated that about 5% of normal aging people with transition into MCI or mild cognitive impairment. With the baby boomer aging it is important to pick up MCI early as some therapy may be helpful to prevent or slow the progression to dementia.
