Glaucoma treatment: Glaucoma is a disease in which there is increased pressure in the eye. It occurs when the eyes drainage system blocks up and causes increased pressure in the eye. Usually this is asymptomatic, but decreased peripheral vision may be an early symptom. Treatment usually includes eye drops to lower the pressure in the eye, and laser or surgery.
