Description:

This animated video reviews the function of a healthy knee. This will help you have a basic understanding of the knee, so that you can better understand what can go wrong with the knee. The knee is essential for walking and standing. THe femur, the patella and the tibia are the bones that make up the knee. Ligaments hold the knee together and allow for movement. Cartilage, including meniscal cartilage, allows for smooth movement between the bones, along with fluid in the synovium.
