A heart attack, also called a myocardial infarction (MI), refers to a sudden event in which a portion of the heart stops working because it no longer receives blood. Heat attack symptoms can include chest pain (angina), cold sweats, discomfort in the arms, back, neck, stomach or jaw, vomiting and lightheadedness. For some people these symptoms do not occur.

The thing I like about this website is that I am educating myself since my family has so many risk factors for heart attacks. I know that I can control stress to reduce angina. I went to the emergency room several times and I do not feel embarrassed because I know that MI is in the back of my mind.
