Dr. William Abraham of the Ohio State University Hospital discusses how following the guidelines for heart failure can improve the patients quality of life. Using the best medications, and devices can lower the chance of hospitalization from heart failure-CHF. Some medications include ACE inhibitors, Beta blockers, diuretics, and digoxin. Some people will need a defibrillator, or ICD, some with biventricular pacing.
