Description:

The parathyroid glands regulate the calcuim levels in your body. Hyperparathyroidism commonly causes symptoms such as bone loss, muscle weakness, bone pain, difficulty concentrating, severe fatigue, and kidney stones. An adenoma of the thyroid usually causes hyperparathyroidism. Minimally invasive surgery can be used to take out part of the parathyroid.
