Description:

Heartburn is the symptom that is common from GERD-gastroesophageal reflux disease, other symptoms include cough and bad taste in the mouth and chest pain or burning. Complications of GERD include asthma, pneumonia, and esophageal cancer. Frequently, because the symptoms can mimic heart disease, a work up for heart disease is necessary.
