Description:

The medical terminology for chest pain that comes from blockage in the arteries in the heart is called angina pectoris. The typical feeling that a patient has with angina pectoris or angina is a tightness, or burning in the chest that lasts for atleast a few minutes. A sharp chest pain that only lasts a few seconds is rarely from the heart.
