Description:

Dr. Rob Hicks discusses how to know when you have the flu or a cold. With the common cold the symptoms come on gradually and are not that severe, affecting the nose, and throat with sneezing, runny nose, and scratchy throat. The flu symptoms are usually much more severe, and cause high fever and muscle aches.

Either cold or flu, the most important treatment is a healthy lifestyle to prevent either. If people exercise daily and eat a health diet, the risk of getting flu or the common cold would be significantly reduced.
