In addition to pain in the flank and back, blood in the urine is a common finding. Bleeding in the urine may be the first sign of Kidney Stones. There are good treatments available for kidney stones. I also had a kidney stone many years ago, and yes, it is a very painful experience. Hopefully, it won't happen again, although I never had an explanation why I got the stone in the first place. I heard that Dr. Del Pizzo is an expert in laproscopic surgery as well as robotic surgery. I would love to see a video on these types of surgeries. Thank you!
