Chronic Kidney disease is a progressive disease the worsens kidney function. As you get to the later stages of chronic kidney disease the focus becomes when do you start dialysis, and then dealing with the issues that come along with dialysis. There are also other issues as you get later in the disease, such as chronic anemia, which can sometimes require blood transfusions.
