Description:

What do medications play in managing? Steroids are commonly used in patients with crohn's disease, these medications have side effects- they can lower the blood counts, and make you more prone to infection. Another common medication is Mesalizine, this is also an anti inflammatory like steroid, but is not as strong. FOr refractory symptoms, immune modulation is needed.
