Migraine symptoms are usually a throbbing, pounding headache on one side or both sides of the head. It can be associated with nausea, and vomiting, there can also be light and smell sensitivity. Most people cannot function with a migraine and have to sit in a quiet, dark room to recover. Migraine headaches cast last up to 3 days. Dr. Larry Newman, the Director of the Headache Ctr. at Roosevelt Hospital, discusses migraine symptoms.
