TIA, of transient ischemic attack is usually a precursor to stroke. It is important to recognize and diagnose TIA, since appropriate treatment after TIA can sometimes prevent a future stroke.

Excellent presentation. Remember that sleep apnea is one of the greatests risk factors for a stroke and that sleep apnea has been found in up to 50% of people who have had a TIA.
