This animated video will run you through the process of your nuclear stress test. A Stress test is performed to look for ischemia, or decreased blood flow to the heart, which suggests there is a blockage in one of your coronary arteries. Your doctor may order this if you have chest pain. These blockages, which are coronary artery disease, may need treatment, such as angioplasty, stent, or bypass surgery. Video courtesy of eMedTV.com
