Parkinson's Disease is for the most part a movement disorder, causing motor symptoms. These include moving slow, tremor- usually a resting tremor, stiffness, rigidity, balance, and problems with gait, or walking. There are also non motor symptoms such as constipation, mood disorders, high blood pressure, and others. Dr. Susan Bressman, the Chairman of Neurology at Beth Israel Med.
