Parkinson's Disease is for the most part a movement disorder, causing motor symptoms. These include moving slow, tremor- usually a resting tremor, stiffness, rigidity, balance, and problems with gait, or walking. There are also non motor symptoms such as constipation, mood disorders, high blood pressure, and others. Dr. Susan Bressman, the Chairman of Neurology at Beth Israel Med. Ctr., discusses Parkinson's symptoms.

Are most people that have a tremor going to get parkinson's disease. I am worried about my grandmother. Her hands shake all the time. But she seems to be able to walk ok.
