Pituitary Tumors: Dr. John Atkinson, a neurosurgeon at the Mayo Clinic, discusses the presentation of pituitary tumors, and the surgical treatment. Common presenting finding is visual disturbances or vision changes, but other symptoms include fatigue, malaise and not feeling well, and lack of energy. Most pituitary tumors are benign. These tumors can secrete hormones, the most common are prolactinoma, another are tumors that produce growth hormone.
