Description:

Treatment of cervical cancer traditionally includes a hysterectomy. For women in childbearing years who wish to have children, this obviously eliminates that possibility. A radical trachlectomy for cervical cancer preserves the uterus, and therefore the possibility of pregnancy. Dr. David Kushner. Univ. of Wisconsin.
