Description:

Scabies information. Scabies is more common in children and women. It causes intense itchiness, and redness of the skin. This is an infection with mites, and is transmitted by close contact. The other symptoms besides itching, there can also be a red, blotchy marks and lines. It is treated with a topical lotion that kills the mites.
