Description:

Patients with sickle cell disease can be very severe and leads to early death and morbidities including stroke, seizures, and lung disorders that can be crippling. There are also the periods of crisis, whcih can be very painful, with bone pain, abdominal pain. Bone marrow transplant can be very effective, but very few patients have this treatment.
