Dr. Harris Cohen reviews sinusitis. Sinusitis is inflammation of the paranasal sinuses usually due to viral or bacterial infection. Symptoms of sinusitus include facial pain, fever, upper tooth pain, nasal congestion runny nose, decreased smell and taste, sore throat, cough, bad breath, post nasal drip, ear pressure, pain on one side of the face, pus filled nasal discharge. Antibiotics and nasal steroids are sometimes necessary.
