Chemotherapy induced diarrhea can happen with anyone undergoing treatment for cancer. I am sure that it is more common with colon cancer, but I know people with other types of cancer that have had the same problem.

My good friend has been diagnosed with anal cancer. She had a small spot two and a half years ago. She had surgery on September 11th and it is not in her lymph nodes. She is going to see her oncologist to see if a combination of radiation and chemotherapy will work. The worry of a colostomy bag has sent her into a depression. If anyone knows of any alternative centers, please post a message.
