Individuals diagnosed as obese or severely obese run the risk of developing serious and potentially life threatening complications including diabetes, hypertension, asthma and arthritis. Obesity not only affects adults in the U-S, it is also a growing problem in children and teenagers. A new study shows obese teens are now at increased risk for becoming severely obese when they hit young adulthood.
