Description:

Vitamin D and Heart Disease. Patients with low vitamin D levels are twice as likely to have a heart attack or stroke. You make vitamin D when you are exposed to sun. So people with less sun exposure may need vitamin D supplementation.

Most of the vitamin D supplements also come with calcium. When you live in New England, the weather is so grey for most of the winter. Preventing heart disease is on everyone's mind these days.
