Description:

White Coat Hypertension is the phenomenon that occurs when a patient measures their blood pressure at home and finds that the blood pressure is normal, but at the doctors office the blood pressure is found to be high.

My husband must have this problem. I check his blood pressure at home, and it is always under good control. But when he goes to the doctors office, especially the lung doctors office, his blood pressure is always high.
