Description:

Osteoporosis is much more common in women as they age. Dr. Edward Schneider, a noted geriatric physician from USC, discusses the reason why osteoporosis is more common in women than men. Women have smaller bone mass, so they are more prone to osteoporosis, and subsequent fractures from this loss of bone mass.
