Zenker's Diverticulum: Dr. Todd Baron, a gastroenterologist at the Mayo Clinic, discusses the endoscopic treatment of Zenker's Diverticulum. Zenker's diverticulum is an outpouching of the upper esophagus. Symptoms include difficulty swallowing, that is progressively worse. Treatment is usually surgical, but newer endoscopic treatments are possible.
