Barack Obama on Healthcare Spending.

Getting a regular health check up is important in todays stresfull times, especially in cities like Mumbai: http://www.healthspring.in/health-checks/

I am a cardiologist involved with VideoMD. Mr Obama is a very good speaker, we hope as health care professionals, that his actions in health care reform are as good. One thing we should demand of him is to lead by example. Mr. Obama still smokes cigarettes by most reports. (Although you never see this in media.) If you watch the report above about the health of non smokers improving after smoking bans, you will see that it is not just important as an example, but it also important to improve the health of all.

Barack, We know that you will do the right thing with Medicare and Medicaid. Health care is one of the most important issues to most Americans. Electronic billing is key. Treating children is so important.

I do not think I would describe health care as the blob. But clearly the presidential candidates have to explain not only how they are going to help fund health care as the baby boomers get older, but also how they are going to make health care better. We need to be able to have more time with our doctors, and not have insurance companies interfere with our doctors decisions.
