The total body lift for all intents and purposes is equivalent to almost pulling up the pants and pulling down the jacket at the same time. Patients who undergo gastric bypass surgery or patients who have lost a lot of weight, and haven't necessarily had surgery are almost always left with a significant amount of skin and soft tissue, but mostly this excess is skin and it can be quite severe.
