The XMRV virus (xenotropic murine leukemia virus-related virus) is aleady linked to prostate cancer and affects over one million Americans. However, a new study shows the XMRV virus may also be linked to chronic fatigue syndrome. Cleveland Clinic physician Dr. Robert Silverman, who first discovered the XMRV virus, talks more about the findings in the study and how he hopes the findings will spur further research that could help people with XMRV-related diseases.
